Weather elsewhere

It was a rough week for weather. We endured five days of solid rain and thunderstorms that turned our back yard into a slog pit and caused significant damage/havoc elsewhere in our region. This photo was taken from our cup-de-sac on Sunday evening, of a thunderhead towering to the east of Magnolia. It never moved into our area but brought rain, etc., to El Dorado.

And yet... when I pivoted to the west, I took this photo of clouds breaking and the sun shining through. It was in many ways a glorious evening for us in Magnolia, though points north and west were pummeled with thunderstorms.
