Nature walk

Christa and the girls spent the weekend at a retreat for church youth, and I had some time to kill Sunday. Forced to choose between staying home and going out to shoot photos, I opted for the latter. I took a leisurely drive out to Logoly State Park for a brief hike into the woods, intending to shoot more but chased out of the park by ravenous mosquitoes the size of small birds. Determined to get the most out of the light (and my 10-24mm wide-angle lens) I drove out to Lake Columbia, where some interesting foliage and scenery presented itself.
